How did you open it?

Any error message?

Did you try to open it from a computer with NetWorker software installed?

Re: Cannot open nsrclone session with < networker-server>

so your backup and clone not working?

have you checked the networker service is running?

also check if ports are open using rpcinfo -p <BKP SN@SRV servername>

Re: Cannot open nsrclone session with < networker-server>

Hi Tim,

Clone is implemented now but don't work well

But backup to physical tape work.

Clone are maid from vtl (datadomain) to physical library.

Re: Re: Cannot open nsrclone session with < networker-server>

Are you sure backup succeeds? If backup fails, it is expected clone will fail.

If backup succeeds, it will choose a storage node to read and a storage node to write (if you have multiple storage node).

Please refer to Administration Guide page 229-231 “ Directing clones to a special storage node” to check whether the following values are correct:

FORCE_REC_AFFINITY
Read hostname
Clone storage nodes
Recover storage nodes
Storage nodes
Storage node to WRITE save sets

Re: Cannot open nsrclone session with < networker-server>

This message is usually to be found as a 'conclusion' at the end of a message 'block'.

So please look a bit closer at the time stamp.

A look at the daemon.raw file will oviously help.
