If it is to a new backup server, I don't think you can export properties from one server to another and use them as is.

Explain to what do you refer when you say export.

In the fact I needed some groups and not the totality, for migrated them to a new server.

You could do that via script by using nsradmin dump to create group properties and then inport them by creating it on new server (again via nsradmin).

a) Dump client information to file with nsradmin
b) Create them with nsradmin using same values which have been dumped before

Depending on your configuration name, clientid (hm, for that you will need mminfo), schedule, saveset, remote access and alias might be enough (this really depends on your configuration).
