Configure the SAPHANA Backups (NMSAP) using CLI of backup server
Hello ,
Currently we are configuring the hana backups using Networker Wizard-NMC from backup server and for few systems at end the connection gets forcibly lost when we click SAPHANA tab in wizard tab . So my question is to check if there is a specific steps that can be used in CLI - nsradmin to forcibly configure HANA backups with all required parameters ?

I did couple of SAP HANA configurations, but never had an issue with wizard (up to SPS11 with 8.2.2.x). If you don't use wizard, you can create manually configuration as stated in manual and that will work just fine.

Unfortunately the manual config did not help and we did that already . We just found that the systems are in a different ESX where java is not installed default . Post installing java the wizard issue is sorted out and then the configuration including backups went fine .

Issue was not sorted completely and EMC identified that the VM's hosted on ESX will have such issues with the port 9000 is monitored on network end using intermapper and currently we are working on that part to sort that out . Will let you know when we have a positive response .
