Dependency for oracle
As for FS backup, Networker has dependency for Full and incrementals.
1. Is this dependency also applicable for Oracle backups (using NMDA module)?
2. If no dependency, then lets say I have weekly Full and Daily Incremental level 1 for oracle backup with retention as 10 Days. So on 11 Day, will networker expire the Full backup without checking the dependency incrementals?

@Raja_Bala, the archive log backups are not related to the full backups in anyways expect for when you want them for a point in time as the full backups cannot be run every 15 minutes but archive logs can. Because they are independent of each other in terms of how they are configured you cannot expect the Backup application to keep a track of their dependencies. You will have to set a retention long enough to satisfy your organization's RPO.

Ok. Basically for filesystem backup, Networker will not expire full backup until all dependency incremental backup expires. Is this applies to oracle backup as well? If not, how we can achieve this to avoid expiration of full backup before all it's dependent incrementals expires.

Yes, it extends the retention of the dependent savesets to the largest retention in the dependent set.
refer to the section "Policy uniformity" in the Admin guide for NMDA.

@crazyrov When I enabled this option, Networker extends retention of oracle L0 and L1 backup savesets to make sure it doesn't expire until last L1 expires. But my concern is it doesn't extend retention for archive log backup savesets. So in case of point in time recover, we may not able to recover as archive log savesets might expire before. So is there any other options available?
