Hi,

The hard link and shortname settings are explained in the Administration Guide page 110: Windows Backup and Recovery Notes.

The backup level message is explained in this article

Hi Moin,

The DISASTER_RECOVERY:\ save set is backed up only during Full level backups. During incremental level backups, all other specified save sets are backed up. When the save set All is attempted for the first time on a system before a DISASTER_RECOVERY:\ save set has been saved, the save level will be forced to Full so that a DISASTER_RECOVERY:\ backup is assured.

Make sure that the VSS System Writer is present and working on the system. Please run the command "vssadmin list writers" to check if the System Writer is in the list. If not, you will need to follow this Microsoft KB article to return back the missing System Writer:

Hope this helps,
