EMC VBA appliance performance

When I check the restore points in ebr plugin through vcenter web-client the CPU usage on the VBA appliance goes to 100 %.

It takes 15 minutes to list all the restore points.

We have more then 1000 VMs being backed up by VBA.

VBA currently has 4 CPUs and 8 GB of memory.

I am wondering if we can increase the CPU count to 8 to see if improves the performance.

Is that supported by EMC?
