Error Determining RDB Capability: Exchange 2010 granular recovery using NMM 2.3
Hello,
we have same problem as this thread: https://community.emc.com/thread/126118 and checked everything stated there without success. The following error persists:
Selecting Exchange RDB view
Unable to query MAPI interface. Common causes of this are:
- MAPI/CDO version 1.2.1 or later is not installed
- The Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service is not running
- The current logged-in user mailbox should be in mounted state
- NMM supports Exchange 2010 SP1 Roll-up 2 for RDB browsing and recovery
Server CORREO2013 is not capable of RDB operations.
and this message appears in application event log: adsutil(4063): Could not open EMS Store for Exchange server: CORREO2013, status 0x80040700.
User starting up MMA module and the service "Replication Manager Exchange Interface" has all the permissions/groups indicated in the above thread.
any suggestions?

follow up: Our environment is a migration from exchange 2003 and we ended up creating a new user for granular restores and assigning permissions to it, then login in the exchange server with new user and executing NMM as administrator and "voila", mailboxes and contents appears without errors and granular recoveries are tested ok. Not sure what the problem is with other users already present in the domain.
