Exchange 2013 Takes Forever To Start The Slave Jobs
Having issue with the Exchange 2013 backup. Everything looks to be configured correctly but the job is taking forever to start the slave job.
Backup Server : NW8235 ( Windows 2012 R2)
8 Exchange Nodes : NW8235 + NMM 8235 ( windows 2012 R2).

Hi Meng,
Can you please try to add the following variable to specify the list of Exchange nodes that will be running the job on the passive DBs:
NSR_FEDERATED_PSOL
NSR_FEDERATED_PSOL: Type a comma-separated list of the order in which to back up the databases on each server in the DAG. If you do not specify a list, the coordinating node distributes the backups based on an unordered list of Exchange servers in the DAG.
In this list ideally you would like to include only the nodes that contain passive copies of the DBs, otherwise you can add all of them.

Hi Meng,
Please have in mind that you can also limit the number of nodes that will run the jobs so for example, let's say you want only nodes 1 to 4 to run the jobs, then only add nodes 1 to 4 in the PSOL list. There is no need to run the 8 nodes unless you want each node to run a job.
If you limit the number of nodes to run the slave job it should start faster, as the main nsrsnap_vss_save will have to wait for less nodes to come back to it saying "slave job started, let's continue".

Still the same. The main nsrsnap_vss_save still not able to get the 4 nodes to start the slave job. The 4 nodes does not have the nsrsnap_vss_save process initiated.
