How to do EBR+DD DR tests
Hi Team,
Please help me a bit. Customer has VMware, Networker, DD and EBR.
We are going to take backups of VMs via EBR to DD. (that should be OK).
Then I will have to rebuild Networker, restore the bootstrap, and get to the point where a new EBR is installed and registered and we can restore VM backups from the DD device.
Where do I find a nice document descibing these steps? Or approximately descibing these steps?

Your procedure will be set of several steps. For example, first you are doing DR of backup server application.... then you are adding/registering new BMR (this I believe is already covered in integration doc).

Hi Hrvoje,
No luck. I could not find EBR related DR procedures in the Procedure Generator for Networker.
Do you have it? Where should I look?

I have found well documented steps in the VMWare integration guide how to prepare an EBR appliance for DR.
These steps are including how to create and validate checkpoints and backing up checkpoints from /data01 /data02 and /data03 using Networker's save command or via a NW group.
Hope it will work when we backup data to DataDomain as well.
