MSSQL: saveset is not backing up all the database

Hi,

the MSSQL client is not backing up all the online database what we mentioned in the script file (backup command in client defination)

what could be the reason,

Data base missing            - Navision Monitor

MSSQL:KD-PROD

MSSQL:master

MSSQL:model

MSSQL:msdb

MSSQL:PRD-KD-OLA

need help on this.

Kindly provide NMSQL module version and backup command mentioned in the Client properties.

NMSQL Version - 5.2.2.23

Command     - nsrsqlsv.exe -I C:\drift\DBLogfiles\Sql_All.txt

Raja999 and djnair, are you the same person?

If not Raja999 please let us know the NMSQL module version and build as well as the saveset you are using.

Also please render nsrsqlsv.raw and paste out here the output.

The issue in this case is that the include file doesnt support a database with a name with a " " space in the name.
MSSQL:Navision Monitor

this needs to be specified as
"MSSQL:Navision Monitor"

in order to be included in the backups.
maybe EMC can work on trying to give an error message for this behaviour. as the NMSQL module is silent regaring these "incorrect" entries in the include file. it just backos all the "other" databases
