Migration Plan

Does anyone know if temporary enabler codes allow the functionality to setup a fully functional enterprise environment to which all current licensing can be transitioned over to within a month?

Yes it would.

Networker new setup will work without any enabler codes for 30 days from the date of installation(except for some licenses like Disk backup option etc.) and additional 45 days when you enter Enabler Codes from the date of entering enabler codes.

By this time, you can get your enablers authorized for the new setup.

So I would have to request additional enabler codes for DDS, SQL, EXCH, etc. Have 16 drives in library, 15 SQL, 5 EXCH servers? So the library would automatically be funtional for 30 days? Would all 400 slots be available for the 30 days?

Thx

Yes they would.

Infact for the evaluation period of 30 days, you do not need enablers and I think once you have tested for 7-10 days, you can place order for your enablers and get them done by the time 30 days evaluation period ends.

I have seen many customers doing this.

Customer has 3 storage node in addition to the backup server. I would need 3 separate temporary endabler codes as well to make them active?

Thx

If you are running in eval mode you don't need any license. If not, ask (pre)sales support temp licenses based on environment customer will use and they will provide necessary licenses.
