NMSAP Online/Offline backup error

Dear All,

We have newly configured online & offline backups to DD in NetWorker server for one of the AIX 7.1 client, in which SAP and Oracle 11g (BRTools 720) running together.

Backups were running successfully except the below error messages:

***********************************************************************

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib:

===...could not load SSF library libsapsecu.o .

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib: 543 likey_init: Couldn't load SAPSECULIB ("libsapsecu.o") using function SsfSupInitEx (), rc = 10 (no library).

BR1301W Error message from likeywlib: 541 likey_init: Couldn't load SAPSECULIB. Giving up.

BR1302W Initialization of license key library likeywlib failed, return code 1

BR1304W Checking SAP license failed at location BrLicCheck-122

BR0602W No valid SAP license found - please contact SAP

***********************************************************************

(fyi : In the Client configuration wizard, we have given 'Operating System Credentials' only)

The said file libsapsecu.o already exists in /usr/sap/ /SYS/exe/run location and in the environment file under sidadm, i can see the below parameter as well.

DIR_LIBRARY=/usr/sap/ /SYS/exe/run

I have gone through several forum messages where most of them are talking about DIR_LIBRARY parameter which is already exist.

KIndly suggest us the solution to avoid this error.

Regards,

Durga.

Easy question: do you see the same when you run brbackup from host? (I assume you use SIDadm user).  If not, then environment variables in CFG file (which is used for scheduled backup) are not done correctly.  Usually, your CFG file will look like following (with respective difference specific to your environment):

BR_EXEC=brarchive -r init{SID}_arch.utl -p init{SID}_arch.sap

ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/{SID}/112_64

SAPDATA_HOME=/oracle/{SID}

NLS_LANG = AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8

SAP_BIN=/usr/sap/{SID}/SYS/exe/run

SAPBACKUP=/oracle/{SID}/sapbackup

ORACLE_SID={SID}

SAPARCH=/oracle/{SID}/saparch

SAPREORG=/oracle/{SID}/sapreorg

SAPTRACE=/oracle/{SID}/saptrace

SAPCHECK=/oracle/{SID}/sapcheck

NSR_UMASK=017

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/sap/{SID}/SYS/exe/run:/oracle/{SID}/112_64/lib

DIR_LIBRARY=/usr/sap/{SID}/SYS/exe/run

#BR_TRACE=1

OS_USR_PASSWD=XXXXXX-XXXXXXX

Dear Hrvoje Crvelin,

Thank you very much for your response, as this is my first message in this

community. Here i have attached Backup Configuration Summary, with which i

have taken backup and faced this error.

(See attached file: nmsapbackup testing.txt)

I have checked UMASK at Client OS level, it is showing as 022. But do we

need to give the same anywhere in Client CFG wizard in NetWorker Server?

Under the Client CFG wizard, in the Advanced Options, i have below

parameters came by default:

LIBPATH - /usr/lib/nsr/apps/nmsap/lib64:/oracle//112_64/lib:/usr/lib/nsr:/usr/lib

NSR_NWPATH - /usr/bin/

Kindly look into the above parameters and suggest. Thank you very much for

your patience.

Thanks & Regards,

Durga Prasada Rao.G

Did you use wizard?  As that looks pretty much as "wizard was here" setup (nothing wrong with that of course).  Also, I used NMSAP from 3.5 to 4.5, but not 4.6 so I can't say if there are any changes that apply.

I checked the attached document and I assume what you call backup configuration is CFG file (I do not use wizard, but do things manually so my setup might be different, but at the end of the day it is the same). When I look at it I do not see DIR_LIBRARY mentioned.

Dear Hrvoje Crvelin,

Thanks for the update.

My Backup was successful with existing CFG wizard , except this errors which i have posted earlier.

Just small clarification seeking from you. As i mentioned in my initial post that DIR_LIBRARY=/usr/sap/ /SYS/exe/run parameter was maintained in environmental variables. This parameter i was looking at Client Operating system (AIX7.1) level from adm with env command.

>>>> Now my doubt is do i need to add this DIR_LIBRARY parameter in CFG wizard (Advanced Options) manually as well from NetWorker CFGend?

Kindly confirm this, so that i can modify & add this in the CFG wizard and re-test the backup.

Thanks & Regards,

Durga Prasad.

Yes, that parameter should be part of CFG.
