NW 9.1.1 Server / Unmarried NMC 9.1.1 server through firewall problems

Greetings All,

I was hoping someone could provide some insight on something I may have missed here.

We have four data zones we are working on upgrading from 8.2 to 9.1.1.  Our pre-prod NW Server (Server A) upgrade was successful and is able to be managed by our upgraded NMC server (Server B) both reside in the same subnet.

10.1.80.x

EMC Professional Services configured the Authentication Service to (Server A)

As we went through and upgraded our DMZ environment, the upgrade was successful. However, we have a firewall between this Networker Server (Server C)  and our NW / NMC server (Server A / B).

We have bi-directional exceptions through this firewall for the nsrport range used by Networker.

We have bi-directional exceptions for the authentication ports 9090 and 9091

We also have bi-directional exceptions for 5672 (Message queue adaptor).

When performing the NSRAUTHTRUST - H - P 9090

We had to trust the preprod NW server  (Server A) not the NMC server (Server B) to allow authentication to happen.

However, when we launch into the DMZ environment the groups/clones and overall monitoring display is entirely blank.

This is not the case when the DMZ NW server is managed locally by its own NMC.

Any ideas?

Run this command to get access on the NMC.

nsraddadmin -H Authentication_service_host -P Authentication_service_port_number

Do you see any drops on fw at the time when you try to connect to server C from NMC?
