NetWorker 7.4.2, message Unable to render...

Hi people,

I have updated the environment to NetWorker 7.4.2, and since then, daemon.raw shows the next line:

"Unable to render the following message: /bin/sh: /usr/local/bin/mutt: No such file or directory"

My doubt is if this message is showed because /bin/sh does not know read or understand the contents /usr/local/bin/mutt or because I have a problem.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks.

Inma Bernabe.

I am sorry for asking this, but does /usr/local/bin/mutt exist? I think the message states that it does not.

The ask is why does this message appear with and without backups running?

Exists or not the path, NetWorker asks about it, why?

Thanks.

Regards.

From what I could google, it looks like mutt is an email program. My guess is NetWorker is trying to email something and it "thinks" mutt is the way to do it.

mutt is mail program on UNIX - used that long long time ago on Ultrix :D

You might have notification which is using mutt (or script which does that) or simply that message is sent to log by syslog (caused by some other action) and when you try to render the log you can't as NW does not understand it.

Hi,

Thank you for the answers.

Now I understand 'the why' about these messages?

Sorry for my delay.

Thank you to both.
