Networker Design
Hi Team,
what is the recommended design for Networker Physical Server or Virtual Machine? below are the components details.
Unity
Data Domain
Cisco UCS
Networker
Please advise.

we are thinking to take backup from FC instead of LAN, please advise

Are you planning VM backup? If so, the only way is via LAN. Otherwise, you have to use proxy VADP in a physical server, but this solution is not supported, it is a legacy solution.
On the other hand, I recommend LAN backups with client deduplication. Performance is quite good. Again, for FC backups, you need a physical storage node and deduplication is made in storage node and not in clients... you will see all traffic in LAN from client->storage node.
