Networker NMC hangs on Recover Wizard
Hi,
We are running Networker 9 and we are experiencing some issues with the GUI. We did a full backup for an SQL Server database, but when we try to recover the database, the GUI hangs on the first screen.( we didn't even launch a recovery).
Another question is : Is an SQL Server backup considered as Filesystem in the recover wizard ?

You cannot recover SQL database using the Server Recover Wizard. Please use the NetWorker Module for Microsoft GUI on the client to recover the SQL Database.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply, so how could we restore the database if the host fails ? We tried direct recovery and it works, but if a host isn't configured for direct recovery, does it mean that we can no more restore the database ?

Hi,
if the host fails you can still install NetWorker Module for Microsoft on another SQL Server and restore the Databases to it locally. In the Source client you can add user@newhost in the "Remote Access" list.
