Hi @CLEB

Please run the following command on the Exchange nodes:

vssclupdate

After that please run the following command:

nsrsnap_vss_save -v -?

If still fails please check the log in information for the user starting up the service Replication Manager Exchange Interface, as most likely that user doesn't have enough permissions.

To verify please also run NMM config checker with the same user and let us know the results.

Also you can check the Application and System event logs.

Thank you,

Carlos

We found the problem, the Replication Manager Exchange Interface service user had logon as a service rights but also deny logon as a service!

Now we receive proper information when running nsrsnap_vss_save -v -?

The client is setup in Networker with these commands:

NSR_SNAP_TYPE=vss

NSR_ALT_PATH=m:\networker

NSR_EXCH_CHECK=no

NSR_EXCH2010_DAG=DAGJER601.hermes.si.socgen

NSR_EXCH2010_BACKUP=passive

NSR_CHECK_JET_ERRORS=no

We are going to try a test backup at the weekend.
