Recover oracle Control file with networker

Hi,

Is there any other way to recover oracle Control file [.spa file] without RMAN using networker recover command?

Please share other ways if possible to recover control file.

Iman,

     If you have done a filesystem level backup of this file, then yes it is very much possible. But if you want to recover a module based backup using the recover command, then No it is not possible to achieve this. Backups done using a module need the same type of module to recover it.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility.  Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.

You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right.  Then search for and select: "Networker Support Forum" which would be the most relevant for this question.

you are right. in the end, i am able to recover CTRL file , restore/recover DB with RMAN.
