Recovery of Exchange 2007 NME Modul
hi all,
I have the following Problem:
I Need to recover data from an Exchange 2007 Server which was running on WIN2003 and was backed up with NME Module.
Server is now migrated to WIN 2008 and backup is done with NMM 8.2.
is there a possibilit to recover these old data on the new servers?
is recovery of NME data supported by NMM module?

Hi @Dominic_Rastel
As crazyrob said, it is not possible to restore NME backups with NMM, so indeed you need to uninstall NMM and install NME instead, just remember to install NW client version compatible with NME, as otherwise you will face some problems with the restore.
Also the NW server version could be a problem, as NME is not supported either.
Just give it a try and let us know how it goes.

ok, so think one solution can be to install a WIN2008 Server with NME to enable Access to the old NME backups.

I dont believe you can do that. The mechanism of backing up exchange data using NME is entirely different from how NMM is doing it now.
