Redirected Restore with NMSAP 9.1 for HANA databases (SAP systemcopy)

Hi,

we are struggeling with configuration of following scenario:

- source database is SOU from HANA instance SO1 (it is a multi data container (MDC)) from SOURCEHOST

- backup with Networker NMSAP via backint of tenant database SOU was successfull.

- backup is available in backup cataloge for restore on same host in same instance

What we would like to reach:

- for a SAP systemcopy we want to restore database SOU with different SID/database name on different host.

- target for restore for HANA database is TARGETHOST in HANA instance T01 (it is also a multi data container (MDC)) as database TAR

- trying configuration on TARGETHOST by using documentation "EMC® NetWorker® Module for SAP Version 9.1 Administration Guide 302-003-085 REV 02" => https://www.emc.com/collateral/TechnicalDocument/docu81618.pdf

Finding inside document following sentence:

"... Performing data restore and recovery with the NMSAP recovery wizard on page 132—Added the final bullet with the requirements for a redirected restore and recovery to a different host than the one that was backed up...."

But header on page 132 is "NMSAP Oracle Operations". We tried configuration anyway for our HANA environment but we failed.

So redirected restore for HANA is not available?

Any hints or recommendation or in best case a valid cookbook for the above mentioned scenario?

Which requirements have to be fullfilled to implement this systemcopy szenario via backint?
