We have a Quantum Scalar i40 tape library; the server is running SUSE Linux. Has anyone ever had this problem and how did you fix it?
What is the status of the Library in Networker?
Do you have any contact with it at all?
Have you tried rebooting the library / Networker server (lIbrary first Networker server second)?
Also check if there is number change on the drives for example 1 bein 3 now and 2 being for I have seen that happen.
This error message is usually a bit generic. Could you please render and attach the nsrsqlsv.raw file?
Also, what error messages do you find in Application and System event log at the time of the backup?
