cannot bind to connection port in configured port range the requested address is not valid in its context
Hello all,
I encountered the message above during a recovery of a database with NW User for SQL. The recover process starts and the message is shown for a while. Suddenly the recovery finshes successfully. I don't know why this message occurs. there's no firewall and name resolution was made by host entries. The backup was made with NMM 2.4.1.
Anybody made the same experience?

Sounds like you dont seem to have the the default networker port ranges enabled at the first look. If I remember right there was a bug for NMDA which was similar,tweaking the /etc/hosts did the trick at times. What does "nsrports" show up ?
