nsrstage: Failed to perform DDCL filecopy: Starting a file copy failed ([5007] operation is not implemented)
Hi all,
We have 5 datadomains in our environment, and I'm able to take backups to our datadomain devices.
Now, I'm trying to stage savesets from 1 datadomain to another. And this is failing.
All nsrstage or nsrclone commands from this 1 datadomain (ddr01) fails.
All nsrstage or nsrclone commands from all our other datadomains are working without any issue.
I can't seem to find anything on the error 5007.
(I have found other issues about the 'failed to perform ddcl filecopy', but not for the error code 5007).
Anyone any idea what went wrong?

Hi Tim,
I don't think you would be able to do it from DD to DD, maybe stage it to tape or AFTD, but without the license I don't think you can actually move data between DD's with nsrclone or nsrstage.

Do you have a replication license in place in the DD boxes and is replication enabled?

Hello Carlos,
You are correct!
That is the only datadomain we don't have the replication license for. (we do have a DDBoost license for this box)
In the past, when we were still on NetWorker 7.6 we were able to do nsrstage's from this box.
Of course no clone enhanced replication.
Is there a way to do those old-style stages anyway?

A stage to a regular AFTD is working indeed.
