"24052:savepsm: Backup of database completed successfully" but Backup Failed
Hi guys!
I have a strange prob with the GST backup on Networker FastStart 7.6 64bit Build.142 on a Windows Server R2
Trying to backup the networker database and getting the Failed message:
1 retry attempted
24052:savepsm: Backup of database completed successfully
68172:savepsm: Backing up database credential file and authentication configuration files...
Completed Successfully:
Bootstrap and index
Client config:
Saveset: NMCASA:/gst_on_infrastructure2/lgto_gst
Backupcommand: savepsm
Client is in a group that has its every day full schedule and a custom media pool.
backing up to a adv_file.
What could i forget to configure or i did something wrong?
Thanx for all your help.

Can you post the failure message too?

Hi,
Where are you seeing it marked successfully and where failed? Check the files in the /nsr/tmp/sg/[group_name] folder. That might give you a clearer picture of what's going on.

Ok i think i found what i did wrong.
On my Custom MediaPool i selected the Level's on Full and incr only and the Backup job tried to save the index (lvl 9) on other pool (defaultpool) because lvl 9 was unselected.
So when i changed the Levels in the selection Criteria of Media pool property,
the backup started normally.
I hope this is the right solution..
Thank you

Index backups for incremental backups are backed up at level 9, not incremental, so the restrictions on your pools explains this behaviour.
