restore from root directory, will it restore the shares and security

I have just had a file server crash and I am in the middle of restoring all the files. How does NetWorker handling restoring the share names, values, and permissions? The restores are still being performed so I don't know if this will be performed after all the files are restored. I hope I don't have to manually recreate all this information as I am restoring about 800gb of files. Can anyone let me know if NetWorker will handle this or not. I am using version 7.3 with a windows 2003 server and the client is a windows 2003 server as well.

thanks

Networker should restore file security infomation. As far as I know, shares are more a part of Windows-Registry and should be restored with system state or something.

Well, NetWorker restored most of the file security (there were some files we had to fix), I did find that the LANMAN Server registry key contains the computer shares. The other admin manually created the shares again, before I could test the replacement of this registry key.
