Hi all,
Please help me to fix this issue.
savegrp: suppressed 2 lines of verbose output
79229:save: Writing to a file failed ([5042] a referenced segment was found missing).
86699:save: Unable to write data into multiple buffers for save-set ID '4037889610': Invalid argument (errno=22)
56076:save:AVCTL backup: successful

I'm having a similar issue when performing NDMP backups using 8.1.3 and a Data Domain. I'll update you if I work out what the problem is.

How do you backup exactly filer? I'm a bit puzzled by nsravtar part I see in your message.

I'm using an nsrndmp_save command. I am getting a similar error message to the one above with the same errno. I am guessing that error is not exclusive to NDMP but might go some way to explain what is going wrong.

I'm doing 8.1.4P6 backup (7-mode) and have no issues (to DD using IP).
