6224 Global Routing and broadcast Traffic

I've got 3 switches configured in a lab that have 3 VLAN's running Global routing between all of them.  In other words,  all VLAN's can communicate with all other VLAN's via the Routing protocols.  My question is,  do I need to configure/disable any particular feature within the 6224 switches to NOT allow Broadcast traffic to be routed using the Global Routing of the 6224?  I"m wanting to limit this type of traffic from the network

Here is a good white page that talks about addressing excessive broadcasting.

www.dell.com/.../app_note_5.pdf

The white page is not specifically for the 6224, but the principal and proposed solutions are still the same.

"Network managers can address the performance degradation associated with the excessive broadcast

and multicast traffic by taking the following steps:

1. Disable IP-directed broadcasts on the router

2. Enable storm control on Dell PowerConnect switches

3. Verify that storm control is operating correctly

4. Enable IGMP snooping on Dell PowerConnect switches"

6224 owners manual.
