Auto-Assign Port VLAN based on Connected Device (e.g. VOIP phone)

Hi all

I have some N3024P switches that need to be set up.

There is a requirement to automatically place VOIP phones that are connected to the switch into the voice VLAN automatically.

Is this possible with these switches? I have been looking at GVRP in the CLI but it's not clear to me how it can help with this.

What I would imagine is somewhere that I can enter a MAC OUI, e.g. a specific manufacturer, and then state what VLAN to place that MAC within.

Thanks for the assistance

GVRP is used more for propagation and pruning of VLANs throughout the network. with the N-series you can define a VLAN to be the "voice" VLAN. And with the use of LLDP the switch can automatically take the Voice traffic and place it in the defined voice VLAN. Here is a KB article that goes into further detail of exactly how to accomplish this.
