Fan speed changed to 55 % of the full speed

What is  the system model you are working with?

What error or failure you are seeing?

Was anything done recently like hardware or software changes?

What troubleshooting steps have you done already?

Are all fans running?

And a screen shots of the issue may help.

In general you need to make sure there is adequate cooling, all fans are running and nothing blocking air flow such as dust or papers or anything.

Please, can you confirm the firmware version is updated?

I have seen this error in the past and the only way to fixing it was to replace the hardware after checking firmware was update.

Is the switch still in warranty?
