L3 interfaces on switchports

Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone could advise on whether there is a powerconnect switch model, that accomodates settings ports as L3 ports (vs L2).

in force10, you can do this via no switchport & ip address, commands

in juniper, you can do this via family inet vs family-ethernet-switching stanzas.

similarly, is there any powerconnect model that can allow the same to be done ?

(Please note i am not referring to L3 vlan interfaces. rather, settings ports themselves as L3 [vs L2])

any input, much appreciated.

thanks

The following switches are layer 3 switches.

With these switches you can expedite traffic based on L2 or L3 information, such as IP QoS.

They however don’t have the ability to specify layer 2 or layer 3 by specific port.
