LOG: INFO Application Terminated/Started (SupportAssist, ID = 13, PID = 3648)

We're having a multiple dell n2048 switches in our network and enabled logging to a syslog server for most of them. Now only one switch constantly shows a information log like 4 or 5 times in a second which clutters my logs.

I did some research on them but couldn't find any real information about this specific log entry. Below an example of some entrys.

Re: LOG: INFO Application Terminated/Started (SupportAssist, ID = 13, PID = 3648)

Hi,

Is the firmware up to date? What devices are connected to it? It seems like a management application is trying to get info from the switch.

Thanks,
Josh Craig

Hey Josh,

Thanks for the reply. We have 4 of those switches running on that location.
All of them are running 6.5.1.3 and are connected with aerohive access points and some workstations.
I even compared the running configs on them and they looks very similar to each other.

Have you rebooted the switch? It seems related to this https://www.dell.com/support/contents/us/en/04/article/product-support/self-support-knowledgebase/en...
