Hi there,

 somehow my stack is delivering every 10 seconds this dns event:

DNS_CLI[dnsTask]: dns_client_util.c(1772) 1812 %% DBG DNS Client: no ipv4 or ipv6 address found in response for request id

any idea how i can get rid of this entries since the log gets stuffed a lot with this.

i have set valid values for this

ip domain-name "xxxl"
ip name-server "x.x.x.x"
ip name-server "x.x.x.x"
ip name-server "x.x.x.x"

And the Switch can resolve dns names

What firmware version are you using? Is the switch still in warranty?

hi firmware is 6.7.1.1 and the switches are in warranty

Ok, @White_Ninja, then I suggest you to open a ticket with phone support because most probably they will need to have a log exported and check the log.

Both to check if there is a hardware malfuncion or, in case it is a configuration, they might not be able to perform the cofiguration on your behalf but they could point you to the right direction.

In bot cases, a log analysis would be required.
