PC8024F Firmware
Customer has 2 x 2 PC8024F Stacks which are linked. When upgrading the firmware to 5.1.1.7 it appears that all 4 switches upgrade correctly. When they start the config the switches "lock up" and there is no external access (ping etc). Internal access appears to be fine. Searched the forums but cannot find even a hint of this problem. Can anyone shed some light.

Hi mcstech,
What firmware version is it going from? Are you reverting back to the old firmware to get it to work again? If you run
show startup-config from the cli does the startup configuration look correct? Can you post the config?DellTechAUS

we are having this exact issue as well currently. Switches lock up from access when show running- is issued. Same firmware.
did you resolve this? If not Im going to try a firmware upgrade/downgrade

Really sorry for not replying sooner. Customer has not come back to me in a while but they got the switches working again by rolling back the firmware.
