Thanks in advanced,

Re: PowerConnect 5424 MIBS

First of all thank you for your reply

These are the switch parameters:

SW version    2.0.0.41

Boot version    2.0.0.0

HW version    00.00.02

System Description:                       PowerConnect 5424

I gave snmp access rights to my machine,

It seems like the switch does not answer to any request that I send him.

Perhaps I need to configure something else in the SNMP configurations..

The one I did is: snmp-server community name rw IP address view DefaultSuper

Thanks in advanced,

Re: PowerConnect 5424 MIBS

You may want to look at setting the default gateway.  Otherwise your snmp-server setting looks correct and that should be the only setting you need to access it via SNMP from the "ip address" that you provided.

If that doesn't work what error do you see when running "snmpwalk  -v2c  -c  <community>  <ipaddr>  .1  " ?

Re: PowerConnect 5424 MIBS

Many of them can be found in the IF-MIB (Interface MIB).
