Recommended Dell SFP & SFP+ transcievers for M8024-K

Which are the recommended Dell SFP & SFP+ transcievers for the M8024-K blade switch?

Particularly, I would like to know the part numbers for the following:

1. Inbuilt SFP

1.1 10GbE SFP+ SR

1.2 SFP 1GbE

1.3 SFP RJ45 1GbE

2. 10GbE SFP+ Expansion Module

2.1 SFP+ 10GbE SR

Your help is appreciated.

Here are the part numbers I have listed. The SFP transceivers are only supported in the fixed ports, and will not work in the FlexIO module.

10GbE SFP+ SR = RK0CX
SFP-1G-SX = 63GGJ
SFP-1G-LX = VYW04
SFP RJ45 1GbE = PF911

Just an fyi, you may also want to check out the "Expansion Modules for Dell Networking Switches v2.3" reference guide here: http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/extras/m/white_papers/20179394

Table 1 on page 7 shows speeds for 8024-K SFP+ modules (expansion ports being 10G only whereas the fixed internal ports are both 1G and 10G).  Section 3.1.1 on page 9 shows all optional modules for the 8024-K with their part numbers.

The 10G transceiver will not work (down rate to 1G) if plugged into a 1G at the other end.  The fixed SFP+ ports can accept either a 10G (SFP+) or 1G (SFP) transceiver.  Whichever transceiver is inserted will decide the one and only speed you will be able to use.

What table 1 is saying is that on the expansion module you can only use SFP+ transceivers and that SFP transceivers are not supported, whereas both transceivers are supported in the fixed ports.  But in both cases, the 10G SFP+ will only go at 10G speed.

Thanks Barrett, would you know if a 10G module on the fixed ports would work with a 1G on the other end or do I need a 1G in the case of a 1G link?
