SFP for X1018 Single-Mode 1 mile?
Hi all,
Trying to figure out what SFP module I need to connect single-mode fibre for 1Gbps speeds @ ~1 mile distance (probably closer to 1/2 a mile).

Hi,
The 1000base-LX has a range of 6 miles. Part number 407-BBOO.

Thanks, but holy cow - $780 list price? That's more than the switch!
Are there any less expensive options?

Nothing that we have validated. There might be third party compatible optics that may work.
