Trunking between VLT Switch and N series switch

Hi,

I have configure VLT in S4148 Switch and want to make trunking with N series switch as configuration below:

On S4148FE with VLT,

interface port-channel 110
vlt port-channel 110
switchport mode trunk
!

int range ethernet 1/1/10
channel-group 110 mode active

N Series Switch;

interface Gi1/0/41
switchport mode general
switchport general allowed vlan add 120,202,220,222 tagged

N series switch is used by other company and we don't have access to modify configuration, May i make trunk without configuring port-channel in S series VLT switch, if I create and port channel and make it trunk, does it work with another N series switch without creating port channel for that side? How to make trunk between port channel and normal trunk?

Hi,

It has to match on both sides, a port channel would have to connect to a port channel.

Hi Josh, we have third party device as well managed by others, may connect as a normal trunk in vlt domain? we have server host connected from VLT domain and passing all vlans as trunk, is it possible to make normal trunk without creating port channel? Thanks for your help

Hi Josh, we implemented Layer 3 Leaf and Spine topology using OSPF but the network is flapping(many packets loss), Is it because OSPF sending multicast to everywhere? Also, Once we shutdown the one Peer Switch, all vlans are goes down instead of another taking a role as backup. Could you please give idea so we can fix these issues. Thanks for your help
