Will N2024 works with SFP+ to 10GBASE-T Transceiver, and connect to MD3820i with 10G speed?
Curently working on a project.
There are two N2024, a MD3820i.
1. How do i achive 10G speed netween the N2024 & MD3820i?
2. Will N2024 works with SFP+ to 10GBASE-T Transceiver, and connect to MD3820i with 10G speed?
3. Change to N3024 with 10BBASE-T module instead? (Will it connect to MD3820i with 10G speed?)
PS: N4032 will sure out of budget.
Thank you:Confused:

**************Information incorrect, please see latest post*********************************
Yes, those two can connect to one another. Are you planning out a deployment? Or do you have this equipment and are having issues with the connection?

Thanks for answering.
Currenly still planning, but we should go with N2024 1Gb port driect connect to MD3820i for the moment.
Not sure if we will buy some SFP+ to 10GBASE-T Transceiver for the specified connection.

In light of some recent information, I wanted to post an update correcting my original post. I was incorrect in saying that the 10GBASE-T transceiver would work in the N2000 switches. 1000BASE-T transceivers are supported, but not the 10BASE-T transceivers. http://dell.to/2tFSIcO
The N3000 has an expansion module that does support 10GBASE-T: http://dell.to/2tLyv5m
I apologize for the incorrect information.

I know this thread has been dormant for a while, but if anyone is listening still... .... I have 3xN3048 with 2x10G SFP+ ports on the front and the 2-Port 10G SFP+ module added on the back on each. Our new SAN has 10GBaseT ports on it.
Is there a supported 10GBaseT GBIC that we can put in to the 10GBaseT SFP+ ports on the N3048s?
Thanks,
Gabriel
