connect console cable to Dell " Force 10 S60 " switch.
i boght Dell " Force 10 S60 " switch.
i need to reset the switch and change configuration.
In the swich in which port, should i insert the "rj45 side of the console cable" ?
i want to connect the switch via Putty in my pc.
I am confused. what is the diffrence between the "Ethernet port" and " RS-232" port ?

You must use RS-232 to configure the device. There is nothing to confuse. Router Help
