how to put the MTU on PC8164
Hi there!
On a material from Dell website, i found this commands that must be entered to PC8164.
console(config)#interface range Tengigabitethernet all
console(config-if)#mtu 9216
console(config-if)#spanning-tree portfast
console(config-if)#exit
console(config)#no dcb enable
But there is no explanation why.
Could please somebody tells me the reason this commands must be entered?

Hi,
The default value for MTU is 1500, so if you are wanting to enable jumbo frames you have to change the default. Page 848 of the manual shows the default values ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_powerconnect/powerconnect-8100_User%27s%20Guide_en-us.pdf
