Yes you can use SFP ports in a port channel. Navigate to the port interface and then place it in the port channel you want it to participate in.

Static

# channel-group 1 mode on

LACP

# channel-group 1 mode auto

SFP ports are ethernet ports.

Also, if you want LACP, the command is:

channel-group 1 mode active

This changed on PowerConnect switches with the 5.x series firmware.

Yes, i did it on Tengigabit Ethernet ports, and it is working fine.

but i've to test on SPF Ports also.

My other question:

i want to create portchannel between PC8164 and PC5524.

PC8164 have 10Gbps ethernet ports

PC5524, have  1Gbps ports

Have i to manully configure some speed, duplex on switches?

let me know.

Regards!

The 10GBASE-T ports on the 8164 are rated for (10Gb/1Gb/100Mb) and the 10Gb SFP+ ports on the 8164f are rated at (10Gb/1Gb). So Both should be able to work with a 1GB port on a 5524. I would leave auto negotiation on it should connect.
