vlan trunk a dell 3324 and a cisco 2950 switch
trying to trunk two ethernet ports on these switches to get them talking and passing vlan information.
Dell config:
HOM-1202(config)# interface ethernet 1/e24
HOM-1202(config-if)# switchport mode trunk
HOM-1202(config-if)# switchport trunk allowed vlan add 20-24,26,28
HOM-1202(config-if)# exit
Cisco Config:
interface FastEthernet0/2
switchport mode trunk
spanning-tree portfast
No Events found!

I have also tried this on the dell switch
HOM-1202(config)# interface ethernet 1/e24
HOM-1202(config-if)# switchport mode general
HOM-1202(config-if)# switchport general allowed vlan add 20-24,26,28

firmware is updated to SW Ver. 1.2.1.3 I updated it a few days ago. I will check out the link.

I don't believe I can enable GVRP on a Cisco 2950 switch.
