Bad IP configuration!!

At home I have a small wired network, based on a Belkin router. When I connect my laptopit gets the Ip address, as it should. But on my desktop it gets the address and it tells me that is munaly configured, does anyone know how I can get the IP to be determined by the DHCP that is enabled on my router. They are XP media center Pc's and it is a Belkin router.
Thanks to anyone that can help!

Re: Bad IP configuration!!

Open Network Connections, right click your Local Area Connection, and select Properties from the drop-down menu.   Find the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), select it, then click on the Properties button.  Put a check mark in front of "Obtain IP address automatically", and, if necessary, put a check mark in front of "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
