Can not connect to my wifi

I just bought a Alienware 14x and I can't connect to any wireless routers. I can connect to my IPhone hotspot but I can't with my regular wifi. I have a brand new router so it's not that and all other device can connect to it except mine. I already tried Uninstalling the driver and installing another one. I need help

Gickerz,

Make and model of your wireless router? What type of security are you using? What channel?

What virus program and firewall is on your computer?

Gickerz,

Try using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11. I have not had a wireless device that would not connect. There are many clues in the recommended settings.

On the problem computer, Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER and post the information back here.

Gickerz,

Check Nortons firewall.

Try reading...

How to repair a connection

Start, all programs, accessories, right click on command prompt, left click run as administrator. Type

netsh winsock reset catalog

This will reset the winsock catalog

and Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled

Gickerz,

I did not see an ip address or if DHCP was enabled. Clcik on start, control panel, network and sharing center. Take a screenshot and save it to paint, then upload the image here.

You're not using Mac address filtering in your wireless router, correct?

You did setup your wireless router, correct?

Did you try WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security(Personal)?
