Dell 1525 Wireless-N PCIe Card installation

Studio XPS Desktop 435T/9000, the one with the orange trim.

I wanted to get a wireless card and looked up my system using dell and what should be compatible.

It said the 2.4/5 GHz Wireless 1505 PCI Express WLAN Mini-Card was compatible with my system so I bought it.

Well today I get it in the mail and it's a little bitty thing that I can find no place on the mother board to plug it into.

What the heck Dell!

Any one know where to plug this thing in at or did Dell send me on a wold goose chase?

Sounds like operator error to me.

If it is -->

it's for a laptop

Don't go blaming Dell. The picture should have told you that it isn't for a desktop.

Listen, when the company says a part is compatible with your system, then it should be. That is far from user error.

when the company says a part is compatible with your system,

I find that hard to believe.

Can you please post a link to the page where you found the information?

By the way, your name-calling in your post will probably earn you a violation, so I suggest that you edit it ASAP.

Thanks. :emotion-1:
