Dell Chromebook 11 V2 3120 Wifi issues

We have seen a very high failure rate on the wifi with the 3120 model of the Dell chromebook.  Is there any underlying cause to this?  Or a preventative measure to avoid the occurrences going forward?  The issue is that the motherboard will not detect the wireless card at all.  A new wireless card in most cases does not resolve, replacing the motherboard has been the solution each time.
