Dell Inspiron is connected to wireless printer but MS Windows says Printer Installation Failed!
All had been working and my wife with her Mac has no probelm. I have tried deleting the printer and reinstalling. A ballon on the bottom bar: Your device is ready to use. and in another baloon in the middle of the screen: the printer installation failed. Word etc sees no printer.
Suggestions please. maybe I need an upgrade in Windows.

Printer is connected wireless to your network?
Make and model of your computer and operating system? 32-bit 0r 64-bit? Was the opertaing system recently installed/reinstalled?
What virus program and firewall are you using?
Trying to use the wireless adapter on the printer, correct?
