Dell Latitude C640 Wireless NIC Problem
Hello,
I have been to numerous websites and tried to solve this problem but none so far have. I decided to come here instead. I have a Dell Latitude C640 Laptop. I upgraded my computers old OS to Windows Xp Professional. Before the upgrade I had a working Wireless card in the computer. After the upgrade the card was not recognized. So I browsed the internet to find a driver for it, and I found some, but none worked. The wireless card in my system is a Broadcom 802.11g Wireless NIC. I am wondering how to get the card working again. Please help, thank you.

802.11g is not an option offered with the C640.

I suppose I ought to give more information about this. I am not 100% sure about what wireless card is in the C640. I know the computer is a C640 because it says so at startup, but I am using a program called AIDA32 to see what is in my computer, it says there is a Broadcom 802.11g Wireless NIC. I bought the computer from a friend, and she had a working wireless card in it, and the card worked when I used it until the OS upgrade. I upgraded the OS and now the card is not recognized because I cannot find the driver. According to AIDA32 it is a 802.11g NIC pci device. The program could be wrong, but that does not explain why the wireless card worked before I upgraded the OS.
