Ethernet Driver

I recently had to re-install Windows and the Dirvers on a Dimension E510.  After completing the installation the ethernet port is not working and the Device manager shows that the driver is missing.  Upon opening the case the ethernet connector has the following characters stamped on it: JFM25U1C-L1U1W  64IBB.  Can anyone provide help on what the proper driver is for this device?

Re: Ethernet Driver

Here is the link to the download. You can put it on a flash drive to install it on the E510. The 3rd drop down under  the download gives you installation instructions.

Re: Ethernet Driver

I tried inst5llling these files from a flash drive but couldnt get the extraction to work.  Do you have to extract each file?  If so where do the files belong?  Is there an auto set up file?

Re: Ethernet Driver

I reinstalled windows xp (reformatted c).  Installed the drivers in this order:  Controller, Video, Audio, Network, modem.  I selected the drivers that had the check beside them on the driver disk.  Now, in the device manager, there is a yellow question mark beside the ethernet card and I can't connect to my broadband connection.  Wire is attached... checked that twice.  I have connectivity through other computers, so internet is working in the house.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.  LK

LK,

The order is important. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Since we don't know the make and model of your computer and operating system, the order can be followed in the link.
