HELP needed - Inspiron 1545 only accepts WiFi channel 1-11

Does anybody know how I can change the location or Regulatory Domain of my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop (running Windows 7)?

On my Inspiron 530 desktop that runs Windows Vista I can go to the properties of the adapter (Broadcom 802.11g network adapter). There are a lot of properties to configure. One of them is called Locatie (in Dutch), which means Location in English. The choices here are "Standaard" (Standard) and "Verenigde Staten" (United States). It is set to "standard". Apparently this means that channels 1-13 are available, because it connect if I set my access point to channel 13.

On the Dell Inspiron 1545 there are only a few properties to set. Unfortunately I cannot find anything that resembles "location".

I checked the country code for the PC. This is set to "Netherlands". Being a European country this should allow channels 1-13.
